Elmo's Monster Maker App Reviews

Its cute .. my 2 year old daughter had pretty much explored it in its entirety and grown bored with it in 15 minutes or so (this from a child that is bananas about Elmo). If it were $.99 not a big deal .. 4 bucks?? I expected more, and so did my daughter.

AND I LOVE THIS!!! I think (even if you dont have children) that you should DEFINITELY get this app!! Your kids will love it too! Its sooooooo cute!

I just installed this game for my three year old twins and they both hated this game. First game I have encountered in which both kids told me how much they disliked the game after about two minutes. What a waste of money and time. It took about 20 min to download to the new iPhone 4s. I would love a refund if possible.

The sound on this app does not work on the new 4s with OS 5. Do not buy until this bug is fixed.

Have had this ap for a year, my 3 yr old likes it... Newest update is not good! When u choose eyes and a nose they float up to the top of the screen (not on the monsters face!) please fixxxxx!!!!

This had been endless fun for my daughter. Love that it updates to keep it fresh. Wish you couldnt take pics of your monster but she loves it.

Great app, but clearly uses too much space on the iPhone. Needs to go away for now.

I purchased this app for my then two year old. He has been playing it for a year and still loves it just as much as he did the very first time he used it. He loves it so much he has even decided to teach his 16 month old brother how to play. The updates are frequent and amazing. And the ability to take a picture of the monster you created is so cute. Best purchase to date!

Great application for the 2-4 set...my kids play as long as I let them. Only real problem is that it allows them to instantly take pictures of the monsters...which floods my photostream...they really need to have a setting to turn the saving of photos on/off.

We love this app but it is still in holiday mode and we are ready for the next update!!!!!!!!!

She loves this app. My only issue is the camera. I wish the app would store the pics in itself, not in my photostream.

App doesnt work. Eyes, nose, etc appear in the "air" above each characters head rather than in their appropriate positions on the face. For $3.99, I apparently just got ripped off.

I have been using this app as a teacher and with my grandson since he was a year old. ALL of the children I have used it with have absolutely loved it! The sound problem on the 4s can be fixed by deleting the app and re-installing it. (At least thats what worked for me) I cant imagine kids hating this app unless they hate Elmo : /

I have 2 1/2- year old twins who like (not love) this game. Like others have said - its time for an update! Instead of just updating the "parts" how about a new monster. Both my kids want red or blue but no such luck. Entertains them for about 15 minutes at a stretch. Not sure its worth the $4.

Its a digital Mr. Potatohead starring Elmo & friends, for much less than the price of its plastic equivalent. It couldnt be simpler. Pick a monster body, tap the nose, eyes & hair to change & then enter a play mode where the monster dances, does a little video with Elmo or poses for a pic (which WILL fill your photo stream). While my 2 1/2 year old never tires of the available combinations, I really appreciate the free seasonal updates with new backgrounds, music & facial features. Sometimes these updates are buggy, so the faces float above the monsters, but they usually fix it within a week.

This is the most popular app I have. Little kids love it. Unfortunately the latest update has really messed it up, unless you like the eyes, nose and mouth floating above the monsters head. Please fix this!
