Not working anymore

My 2 1/2 year old loves this app. Did the spring update. It looked great with the knew screens and spring theme. It no longer works in my iPhone 3G. It loads up you can see elmo listen to him speak but when it gets to seeing the monsters it freezes. I now have a very disappointed little girl. When the app was working it was hours of entertainment.
